I am grateful that he is understanding. We have gone through a lot since we found out I was pregnant. And while life is not always simple or easy or pleasant, he is always understanding and accepting of my flaws.
I am grateful that he listens. He listens to me when I’ve had a bad day. He listens when I just want to talk. He listens when I express concerns to him. And he listens with the intent to hear and understand, not just to respond.
I am grateful that my husband is a wonderful father. I see so many men who do not take responsibility for their children, and worse, even when they are physically present they do not actively play a role in the lives of their children. My husband clearly loves our son and would do anything to protect him and give him a great life.
My husband goes out of his way to help me, and for this I am eternally grateful. I have not been working for two weeks, and yet he still comes home after a long day of work and offers to help with bath time or making dinner. He runs errands to the store, cleans up the house, does laundry and much more.
I am so grateful my husband views us as a team and does anything to put US first. He doesn’t keep score. He doesn’t hold past disagreements against me. He supports me and cares about my health and well being.
I couldn’t ask for a better partner in life. I am grateful he never quits on us even when times are tough.
I am so grateful for my husband.
